The best restaurants and for good food dining is the Atlantis Palm Hotel. They have no less than 25 restaurants. You can choose from a wide selection of restaurants, offering everything from European and Asian food, to authentic Arabian dishes. Taste the gourmet cooking of world famous Michelin Chefs Santi Santamaria and Michel Rostang, as well as Nobu Matsuhisa and British television personality Giorgio Locatelli.
This elegant restaurant features fine dining and contemporary Catalan cuisine enthused by the sea and infused with a modern Mediterranean flavour. Inspired by the culinary excellence of Chef Santi Santamaria, who has been awarded the coveted Michelin three stars for the authenticity and quality of his renowned cuisine, Ossiano combines extraordinary food with a mesmerising underwater view of the Ambassador Lagoon. The famously direct and uncompromising taste of dishes served in contemporary style is a Santamaria signature you will truly savour. A special feature of Ossiano is a highly visible caviar bar presenting a sophisticated selection and offering a superb location from which to enjoy a memorable evening. Nobu, created by world-famous Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, offers a lounge and bar, private rooms, sushi counter and main dining area. Celebrity Chef Giorgio Locatelli has created Ronda Locatelli with a warm and friendly alfresco dining area and a sophisticated menu tracing its roots to classic Italian cuisine blended seamlessly with new flavours. With its panoramic show kitchen, Levantine is an exquisite Lebanese dining experience. The restaurant design, featuring elegant drapes and elaborate decorations, incorporates and expands upon a distinctive Middle Eastern concept infused with an explosion of colours and Arabian influences. In the evening, a live band and dance entertainer echo the Oriental themes of this restaurant. On a rooftop terrace overlooking Palm Jumeirah, the Levantine Bar offers vistas, exquisite beverages and a selection of shisha.
Seafire takes its inspiration from famous New York-style steak houses and raises the experience to exciting new levels. All the ingredients for creating a feast for the senses await here. The restaurant's décor features a grand entry foyer, vibrant colours, and three grills as the design centrepiece. A feeling of dining drama is palpable as meat connoisseurs watch the finest cuts of beef from around the world, such as Japanese Wagyu, all-natural grain-fed Australian beef and Certified Angus Beef from the United States, being grilled over natural woods that create subtle yet unmistakable flavours. Beef lovers in particular will find Seafire a must and the menu also includes a selection of other red and white meats and seafood.
Nasimi is set in a sublime location at the very edge of the beach, facing Palm Jumeirah and overlooking the magnificent pools of Atlantis. During the day, patrons can choose to dine inside, poolside or on the terrace, where the relaxing environment and refreshing Arabian Gulf breeze adds to the restaurant's casual beach ambiance. In the evening, Nasimi takes on a more sophisticated mood; the beachside location becomes a dramatic setting for a delicious south Asian culinary journey accompanied by the harmonious sounds of waves and atmospheric live music.
Saffron presents dining drama within a vibrantly bold, contemporary setting created by award-winning New York restaurant designer Adam Tihany. The preparation and presentation of international cuisine, with an emphasis on Asian specialties, becomes a culinary art form where diners enjoy an interactive dining experience as they sample food from open cooking venues throughout the restaurant. The blend of sights, sounds and aromas is memorable. Selections ranging from wok-fried southeast specialities to Indian naans and Malaysian rotis are prepared as diners look on.
Kaleidoscope appeals to a wide range of international tastes by celebrating the subtle tastes of the Mediterranean regions. The palate-pleasing kaleidoscope of flavours and textures draws from the very best of North African, Mediterranean and Arabic cuisines, with the influences of Greece, Malta and the Levant region adding culinary emphasis and interest. The design and atmosphere continue the Mediterranean themes and ambiance by echoing a distinctively dramatic combination of Hispanic and Andalusian styles. This highly interactive and warmly welcoming restaurant offers entertainment and activities during the evening, making Kaleidoscope a favourite among families.
At the Oceana Residence also on the palm is a good New York steak house, called West 14th. This is highly recommended. Serves excellent steaks. Pre-booking advisable.
There are also a number of restaurants at the Shoreline Beach Clubs on the trunk of the palm. These include Veda serving Asian Cuisine, Bidi Bondi specialising in Australian cooking, Cabanna offering and exciting menu of Mexican and Gusto a restaurants serving a wide selection of Continental dishes.
Heading just off the palm, Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort has some licensed restaurants. Barasti Bar serves international food. Offering reasonably priced food and very popular so worth booking in advance. There is also The Dhow, a fine dining fish restaurant and Bussola's Italian restaurant.
In Dubai Marina our suggestions along Marina Walk include The Rupee Room, an Indian restaurants which also serves a lunchtime buffet. Inferno is a European restaurant serving a wide selection of dishes. Royal Orchid is another worth considering, a Thai restaurant.
5 minutes by car is Madinat Jumeirah where you will find a large selection of dining choices for families, including the Noodle House, The Meat Company, Trader Vics and Left Bank.
Jumeirah Beach Hotel also comes highly recommended and booking is essential. La Parrilla offers an Argentinean Menu, Marina is a sea food restaurant, a family steak house at Go West and Dhow and Anchor has a traditional English Pub Food menu.
Finally for a real treat head to Burj Al Arab, the worlds most luxurious hotel. Booking is essential here. Al Mahara serves simply the best seafood in the world. The freshest ingredients and produce prepared by world class chefs. One of the best ways to introduce guests to Burj Al Arab is to have afternoon tea at Sahn Eddar or cocktails at the Skyview Bar.
